How does the resume score work?
It runs the same deterministic checks Ryser uses internally — ATS keyword match against the job description, how much of your impact is quantified, authentic action-verb writing, and structure/length — and blends them into one 0–100 score with a fix-it checklist. It's a deterministic calculation with no AI guessing and nothing invented.
Is it really free and private?
Yes. A free account is required to see your score; your CV is scored securely and never stored, and we never sell your data or train models on it.
Does a high score guarantee I'll pass the ATS?
No tool can promise that, and we won't pretend otherwise. Applicant tracking systems rank applications by relevance — they rarely auto-reject. A higher score means you're better matched and more readable, which helps you rank higher for a human to see.
What should I do after I get my score?
