<p><strong>Harvey Nash USA</strong> has been engaged to find a talented <strong>HR Operations Specialist</strong> for a leading healthcare organization committed to delivering exceptional employee experiences through operational excellence.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Title: </strong>HR Operations Specialist</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote (California Residents Only)</p><p><strong>Duration: </strong>6-Month Contract</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused <strong>HR Operations Specialist</strong> to join a dynamic HR team. This role is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR operations and employee inquiries while ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate is resourceful, takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Day-to-Day Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Review HRIS transactional process requests daily and weekly, approving or rejecting transactions based on established HR policies and procedures.</li><li>Understand core HR policies and processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant transaction processing.</li><li>Escalate complex transactional issues and policy-related questions to HR leadership when appropriate.</li><li>Manage employee HR cases, calls, and chats involving benefits, compensation, wellness programs, leave of absence, payroll, performance management, and other HR-related inquiries.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams including Benefits, Payroll, HR Technology, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Retirement, Eligibility, and Corporate Real Estate to resolve employee issues.</li><li>Deliver exceptional customer service by managing cases with accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism while enhancing the employee experience.</li><li>Identify trends in employee inquiries and partner with leadership on process improvements or escalations.</li><li>Serve as a trusted HR resource while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and service standards.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Must-Have Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Resourceful and self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and efficiently.</li><li>Demonstrates strong ownership, accountability, and a growth mindset by learning quickly and embracing feedback.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach.</li><li>Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and employee support functions.</li><li>Experience handling HR service requests or HR operations in a shared services or HR support environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with Oracle HCM.</li><li>Experience with UKG (Ultipro<strong>)</strong> and/or ServiceNow.</li><li>Passion for Human Resources with broad HR knowledge; SHRM-CP certification is a plus.</li><li>Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Experience supporting multiple HR Centers of Excellence.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li>Associate's or bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field OR 5+ years of HR experience in lieu of a degree.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is <strong>$25.00 - $29.00 per hour on W2</strong>, depending on experience.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>Harvey Nash is a national, full-service talent management firm specializing in technology and professional staffing.
